1. Data controller
The website frenchsportsbet.com ('the Site') is published by FrenchSportsBet SAS, a simplified joint-stock company registered in France, with its registered office at Paris, France ('we'). 2. Data we process
We collect a minimum of data: (a) the data you voluntarily send us via the contact form (name, email address, message content); (b) the technical data strictly necessary for the Site to function (language preference, cookie-consent choice); (c) with your consent only, anonymised audience-measurement data. We collect no sensitive data and no data relating to minors, as the Site is reserved for adults.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Your data is processed for the following purposes: responding to your requests via the contact form (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR); remembering your language and consent preferences (legal basis: legitimate interest — operation of the requested service); measuring the Site's audience (legal basis: your consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR, freely withdrawable at any time); complying with our legal obligations (legal basis: legal obligation, Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
4. Retention periods
Messages received via the contact form are kept for a maximum of 24 months after the last exchange. The language-preference cookie is kept for 12 months. The consent cookie is kept for 6 months, in line with CNIL recommendations. Audience-measurement data, when enabled, is kept for a maximum of 13 months.
5. Recipients and transfers
Your data is intended exclusively for our team and our technical processors (hosting), bound by confidentiality commitments compliant with Article 28 GDPR. We never sell your data. No transfer outside the European Union is carried out without appropriate safeguards (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and the right to set directives regarding your data after your death. To exercise them, write to privacy@frenchsportsbet.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority (cnil.fr).
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (TLS encryption, data minimisation, access control) to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure.
8. Minors
The Site is strictly reserved for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data concerning minors; any data identified as such is deleted without delay.
